NT Police have confirmed the heartbreaking news the body of a missing five-year-old Alice Springs girl has been found.
In a press conference currently underway, they said the little girl had been found 5km from the Old Timers Town Camp.
They are still searching for family acquaintance 47-year-old Jefferson Lewis, who is believed to have led the girl from the family’s home.
The news came as dozens of volunteers joined police and rescue teams for the fifth day since her disappearance.
